Artist Biography: Hurriah is the slag product of Sweden’s heavy industries. Like the gemstone that never was cut. They describe their music as fast and heavy rock and roll. You could say that Hurriah would be the result if Bad Religion had met a group of hippies in the eighties. The sound has also been described as "bomb proof guitar walls that sits around the drums and vocals perfectly while the distorted bass acts as a very heavy foundation."

At the moment they are about to release their first EP, Mother Sky. The music is a hundred percent home grown, from seed to harvest. The album was recorded in the autumn of 2014. The recordings were made in a cellar with white polished concrete walls and oriental carpets, which had great impact on the sound.

The project started in 2014, but they have been playing together in the basement since 2011. The three friends have spent a long time in dormancy, and is now more determined than ever to deliver rock that will burst at the slightest spark.
