During my last trip to Vienna, we ordered an iced coffee and were pleasantly surprised at the towering drink topped with whipped cream and a wafer. After trying more variations around other cafes, this quickly became a family favourite.
Espresso drunken through lightly beaten cream, this Vienna coffee was named after the horse carriage coachmen, as the thick layer of cream kept the espresso hot on chilly days.
