After sitting in the display case for 18 months it was time for some running, I've been so focused on builds that I am ashamed to say that I didn't want to do any steaming or running of the locos - that's all changed! Unfortunately with prolonged sitting in water the left side boiler feed clack valve was leaking; this manifests on opening the bypass valve with boiler water rushing out of the water return pipe. The pump's own valves are good so pumping is still possible. I need to make another steam raising suction fan...
