Castel Gate

Описание: In the year 1166, the castle of Tracastel was built on ancient Roman ruins by the people of Saint-Auban, formerly called Sancto Albano.
This fortification dominated the famous Clues de Saint-Auban, a vertiginous rocky bar forming a narrow and deep gorge 1000 meters high, where the Esteron river flows.
Today, only the gate of the feudal castle and old stone watchtower remains.
It is in this epic place steeped in history that I share this new video with you.

En l’an 1166, le château de Tracastel fut construit sur d’anciennes ruines romaines par les habitants de Saint-Auban, autrefois nommée Sancto Albano.
Cette fortification dominait les célèbres Clues de Saint-Auban, une barre rocheuse vertigineuse formant une gorge étroite et profonde de 1000 mètres de hauteur, où coule la rivière Esteron.
Aujourd’hui il ne reste que la porte du château féodal, et les vestiges d’une ancienne tour de guet en pierre.
