A quick explanation about how to wire up CCTV cameras and specifically how you provide 12 volt power to the cameras. You can either use shotgun cable or networking cable such as CAT5 or CAT6.
The power transformer is located next to the DVR recorder and just one cable is required to run between the DVR and the camera.
