This morning, I tried hunting for one of my favourite dishes of all time, that is khao soi, Thai style! I searched online & found one restaurant that serves this specific dish, so I thought!
Looking at the menu, the dish looked like the one I was looking for, however, the English-speaking waiter Bee (Bi) informed me it wasn't!
The dish was a deep-fried crispy noodle beef dish with thick pork broth gravy. It was abasolutely delicious, but it wasn't Khao soi, the Thai dish that I was craving! My second dish of this lunch was a garlic chicken served with cabbage & rice, again, amazing in flavour!!!!
Both dishes were great. It looks like I'll have to continue my hunt for Thai Khao Soi some other time. Maybe I'll just have to wait until I get back to Thailand itself :)
