066 Living the Dream During Covid 19. Sailing and Travels plans Cancelled as Spain Extends Lockdown

We’re into our third week of lockdown in the boatyard and restrictions have been tightened even further. At one point toilet facilities were closed and we were even buzzed by a drone.

We’re desperate to do the required maintenance on our boat in isolation but police insist that live-aboards stay IN their boats as lockdown is extended by another two weeks.

We’re back to homeschooling and staying in contact with other sailboat cruisers via a daily VHF net and it’s a continual struggle to stay sane with three kids onboard. But we’re thankful that we’re all still healthy and have each other, when other folk are going through lockdown in total isolation. Stay safe everyone, wash your hands and know you’re NOT alone in all this!
