We are back at L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele! This time we are not in Naples, Italy but on our home turf at the newly opened West Village location. The original Naples location opened in 1870 and famously appeared on the silver screen in "Eat Pray Love" staring the one and only Julia Roberts. Although they may be an ocean apart, the New York City location prides itself on importing the same ingredients and using the same technique as the home location. And to cater to the American clientele, Da Michele has expanded its menu. The Naples location only serves two pies while NYC has an assortment of appetizers, pastas, entrees, drinks, and desserts in addition to a variety of pizzas (including the $65 truffle pie).
