The duality between people who play the game, love it and have no problems and the people who can't even run the game and hate it has me gobsmacked. "I love this game, it's so fun!" but also "It's a broken and disappointing mess. I wish I could refund it."
Personally there is a lot of fun to be had here. I had two crashes in the 6 hours or so of playing I've done. I've had a few disconnects from the match and was kicked back to the menu. The game does make my fans spin up. My PC run's hot and loud. Optimizations are needed. However I have not found the game unplayable.
There are problems and Offworld hasn't been focusing enough on that. My hope is that the devs sees this video and realize that these problems are serious. This does not attract and retain players. The player count on PC reflects that. I hope this video is helpful.
