Описание: Tropical Storm Philippe is holding steady to start the week and is expected to stay a tropical storm. The current track has it curving north by the middle of the work week. It does not pose a threat to the US at this time. There is a tropical wave with a high chance of development in the Eastern Atlantic. It is expected to develop into a depression by midweek, but it does not pose a threat to the U.S. or the Gulf Coast. Another area is an area of low pressure in the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. It has a low chance of development, and it will not likely be able to strengthen as upper-level winds are very unfavorable in the long term. It is expected to stay well to our south as it moves westward, but indirectly, moisture will increase in our area which means higher rain chances.
