SECTION 57 of the CONSTITUTION: Deadlocks, Double Dissolution and Joint Sitting | AUSSIE LAW

Описание: Section 57 says that in case of a deadlock between the two Houses of the Australian Parliament, a double dissolution may occur. If after new elections a deadlock happens again, the Governor-General of Australia may convene a joint sitting between the House of Representatives and the Senate.
