Описание: The pediatric Gait Analysis Laboratory at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children was created in 1993 to provide the medical community with state-of-the art, computer-assisted motion analysis of the complex gait cycle. The pediatric gait analysis lab was one of the first of its kind to diagnose gait problems in children. (Gait is how a person walks.)

Our pediatric gait analysis lab allows us to get detailed information about the:
movement of various joints
how the muscles contract
pressure on the limbs
the amount of energy required to make changes in a child’s gait

The Cerebral Palsy Center at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is one of a very few in the Mid-Atlantic region dedicated solely to caring for children with cerebral palsy, treating more than 3,000 children every year.

Because children with cerebral palsy and other complex conditions often need to see many specialists, our family-friendly program provides access to doctors in many fields, working together as a team right here at the hospital.

And we can usually schedule multiple appointments all in one day for your child to see orthopedic and other specialists.
