Here we wrap up a relaxing and explorative time bouncing from place to place around Lake Atitlan - San Marcos, San Juan, San Pedro and Panajechel. We experience the patriotism of the local Guatemalans as they celebrate becoming independent from Spain. With lots of loud noises, colour, and parades.
We loved the culture, the food and the beautiful hand made dresses worn by the local Mayan women. Experience for yourself!
