Описание: In this video I am making good progress on Hal's Willys L Head 134 engine, almost finished with it. Installing the front timing gear cover seems simple enough but a lot of small leaks often occur at the seal area that seals the pulley. Often times when I open up leaking engines you can actually see the seal is worn unevenly which caused the leak. By keeping the cover loose and installing the pulley everything will come into perfect alignment before you tighten the nuts and bolts that hold the cove to the block. Perfect sealing occurs when the cover can float and center on the pulley seal surface. Doesn't seem like much but if you are chasing a leak up front and don't understand why it keeps leaking try this tip.
