Vernon, TX — November 26, 2025: Authorities reported that two people were injured following a single-vehicle crash along U.S. Highway 70 at approximately 11:00 p.m. According to officials, two 40-year-old women were traveling southeastbound in a Chevrolet Silverado pickup near Farm-to-Market Road 1763 when the accident occurred. Reports indicate that the truck failed to maintain its lane of travel for reasons that have not yet been confirmed, resulting in a collision with a median barrier and an overturn. Both occupants reportedly sustained serious injuries. The identities of the women have not been released, and additional details have not been made public. The incident remains under investigation.
