Along the vast coastline, people strive to preserve pristine landscapes. On Kihnu island, strong women make their way on dickey Russian motorbikes from the Sixties, in Pape, a ranger re-breeds nearly extinct aurochsen. The route ends at the Courland Split, a peninsula of inherent beauty.

Mysterious waters, a fresh sea breeze, life on the islands, vast beaches, steep cliffs, towns with hanseatic heritage. "Mare Balticum" is the term that connects nine countries around Europe's largest continental waters, the Baltic Sea. Split in two parts of 5 episodes each, the film team started out on the coasts of Germany. This sequel takes the audience on a discovery trip to georgeous sites and cities including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga and Gdansk.
