Brändö Lax Fish Farming Company was founded in 1984. They produce annually 2000tons of rainbow trout and European whitefish. The costumers are wholesalers and retailers worldwide.
Brändö Lax is located in Åland archipelago with good connections from Turku and Helsinki. The Åland archipelago is known for its pure waters and versatile nature, which creates ideal conditions for fish farming.
The sides of the cage is 10m with a dip in the middle of 20m. the circumference is 100m and can hold 25tons of rainbow trout.
This was recorded at the ending of my aquaculture studies and I can say they where very proud of the fish and the quality was excellent. This is because they hand-feed the fish 1-2 times everyday and really cared in what they where doing.
