Years ago, ZUN's site had a page called "東方幻想的音楽", where MIDI files made for the Roland SC-88Pro could be downloaded for free. Between 1999 and 2001, ZUN posted arrange versions of many PC-98 Touhou Project tracks and arranged the entire Seihou Shuusou Gyoku OST. He also posted the Torte Le Magic OST and 6 tracks known as "ZUN's Strange Works". They only sound as intended on this module.

The PC-98 arrangements include select tracks from 東方靈異伝 ～ The Highly Responsive to Prayers (Touhou 1), 東方封魔録 ～ the Story of Eastern Wonderland (Touhou 2), 東方夢時空 ～ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (Touhou 3), 東方幻想郷 ～ Lotus Land Story (Touhou 4) and 東方怪綺談 ～ Mystic Square (Touhou 5). Please don't call these "remix" or "remastered". These words don't mean what you think they do!

Thank you for downloading this song.

This is "Iris" from Highly Responsive to Prayers. I suddenly wanted to make a shrine-like song for the first time in a while (like a spasm) so I made one (oh!). Since this song was the most shrine-like, I arranged it.

I wanted to make it exhaustingly oriental, and put in an atmosphere of a pub.

Also, "Iris" is of course unrelated to that Iris. Indeed, though, when I made Highly Responsive to Prayers, it was still before the cherry blossoms bloomed, though. Just so we're clear.

東方靈異伝より【 アイリス 】です。 久しぶりに神社風な曲を創りたくなったので（発作のようなもの）創ってみました（ぉ で、この曲が一番神社っぽかったのでアレンジしてみました。

めいっぱい和風な曲に、お洒落な雰囲気を盛り込んだつもりです。

で、アイリスってもちろんあのアイリスとは関係ないです。もっとも、靈異伝を創ったときは まだ、某サクラの出る前でしたけど。誤解のないように

(アイリス == 梅雨時の雨上がりの中の神社) というイメージです（ほんとかよ（笑））。
