Welcome back!

Today's wash n dry takes us back to the "ipso-math" laundrette, where a long time ago I filmed a smaller ipso HW 64 here (I will put the link of that in the end of the description). Since then, the place has been bought by someone else and is now in much better shape so I decided to film one of the bigger machines!

Let's begin and I will explain more further:

Today's wash:

Early 2000s' Ipso HW131 microprocessor controlled 13KG soft-mount commercial washer

Load: Sofa covers, bed sheets & pillow cases

Programme 4, warm 60C with no pre-wash

1000 RPM high final spin

Using dash liquid detergent
& lenor fabric softner

Dried in a vintage A.D.C. stacked gas dryer on high temp. for 24 mins.


So as I said the place has got a new owner now. Compared to before, it is much cleaner, washing machines have been repainted to fully white, the space inside has been modernised and what was the worst thing here was the dryers.
Back then, out of 10 dryers, the 4 worked and 1 out of those 4 had the max. temp option broken. The pricing was INSANE, if I remember correctly 50 cents was 3 minutes? And sometimes they didn't even accept the coins properly or added wrong time onto the cycle.

Now, out of 10 dryers only 5 work but they work correctly. The price now has gone 1 euro for 8 minutes drying which is much better!

The machine I used was in alright condition, but it does need new shock absorbers as it went quite un balanced while spinning. Also was squeaking on high speed and was shaking a lot
