second most popular show at the time 'Downtown and the Peaceful hour' which attracted over a million listeners a week on 96.7FM and 1548AM.
See how it was, compared to today, Paul is using real vinyl turntables, real cartridge machines for the adverts and the jingles,
and look, real LETTERS from million of listeners, and all the phone lines lit up!
Todays technology at our very own wonderful state of the art radio station 7waves.co.uk is brilliant and fun,
we can reply to our listeners' needs immediately via texts and emails and shout outs, but there was something I can't explain
about those times when presenting a show was so much harder due to older technology advances.
