Art Deco House | A Sims 4 Stop Motion Build | No CC

Yes, I know I'm late, but things have been kind of crazy at work, so I didn't have the energy to edit this video, but it's done now, it's up, are you happy?

In all seriousness, you guys, I do love this house. It's giving London 1920s. Ok, so, here's what I mean. Yes, Art Deco is a vibe, yes it's glitz and glam, but it wasn't all glitz and glam. In fact, the glitz was all a ruse from the upper class, of the time, when the lower classes and the middle classes were starting to gain a little more money and prestige than they had liked. So, they did everything up in golds and silvers, just to make things seem as if they were impressive and luxurious (well...they did get that part right).

In any case, for me, Art Deco isn't just about the symmetrical lines, and the straight patterns (there are some curves there ladies, you just have to know where to look), it's the era of murder mystery. While the Victorian age had Sherlock Homes, Art Deco had Hercule Poirot, and the like. So, my idea of Art Deco isn't the glamorous parties, you find in The Great Gatsby, it's the subtle shift from tradition to modern, in those cosy murder mysteries...thrown in with a little glam, but hey, can you blame me?

Now, my favourite room of all of these is probably the entrance hallway or the office (because the right person knows what I'm talking about!), and the office really does scream Art Deco, with its patterned black and gold walls! What about you guys?
