The Art Center in the Classroom
With tempera paints and paintbrushes, students paint circles in three different sizes in colors characteristic of the seasons (blue-winter, pink-spring, green-summer, and yellow-autumn).
Students paint the smallest circles with a specific color for each season, the middle circles with a lighter shade of the characteristic color for a certain time of year (a mixture of the color with white color in a ratio of 1:1), and the largest circles with the lightest shade of the characteristic color for a certain time of year (a mixture of the color with white color in a ratio of 1:2).
