In this week's episode, Matthew describes the highs and lows of growing up in the closet in a conservative-leaning, religious environment. He explores his first encounters with same-sex relationships, the impact that YoungLife had on his adolescence, and how his outlook changed through YouTube.

I came out as gay through posting a video on YouTube. Doing so completely changed my life, but not before many experiences shaped who I am today. I hope this story instills hope, that there's life after homophobia, and that love in the world far outweighs bigotry.
