Visual Search is a mobile tagging application that allows you to click a picture of any image or object with a mobile phone, and get related information for any service. The information could be a simple explanation of the object or a webpage or even a cost comparison, furthering linking to purchase of the object online. Example tags are images of 1-D/2-D bar codes, music CDs, cars, etc.
Visual Search has been developed in the T-Labs as a prototype and is now being integrated in the AutoScout24 barcoo and Happy Measure app for Android devices.
