Описание: We had the incredible opportunity to visit Habitare 2024, the leading furniture, design, and interiors event in the Nordics, which took place from 11 to 15 September at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. This year's theme, "Layers," explored the beauty of homes, spaces, and objects that evolve over time—showing how design revives old styles while blending them with the new.

Here are some of the highlights from the event:

Design Studio Yatofu: Angela Lindahl and Yihan Xiang’s exhibition perfectly captured the Layers theme by showcasing the craftsmanship and processes behind finished designs.

Habitare Neighbours: Curated by Ulla Koskinen and Anna Pirkola, this area showcased diverse homes and lifestyles. The residential block gave us a peek into different ways of everyday living.

Habitare Choice: This space, curated by Susanna Vento, spotlighted companies embracing sustainability, and featured hands-on workshops like waste flower arrangements and scent creation.

Habitare Pro: The professional platform was broader than ever, offering an international programme of themed workshops and discussions, hosted at the Pro Lounge.

The Habitare Main Stage hosted international keynote speeches and discussions for design enthusiasts. One standout talk was by Marie Olsson Nylander, the popular Swedish designer known from the TV show "Dream Home in Sicily." Marie shared her inspiring journey in a keynote titled The Art of Dreaming, discussing how her dreams shaped her career and creative process.
