1. What is EPR Waste Tyre?
EPR Waste Tyre is a centralised portal of the #cpcb portal. Which is introduced by the government.

2. Why did they introduce this portal?
#moefcc (Ministry of #Environment Forest and Climate Change) Rule was introduced in 2016 by the #cpcb Portal. The name of that portal is Hazardous and Other Waste Movement of Transboundary Management of the #tyres.
Some Amendments were launched on 21 July 2022. If you are a Recyclers, Retrader manufactured /Producer. If you fall into that category, you must apply for EPR Waste Tyre by visiting the CPCB Portal.

Producers - Producers are those who manufacture new Tyres. Automobile manufacturers are also producers.
Recyclers - Identities who follow the appropriate process of converting waste tyres to sustainable products.

Reclaimed Rubber
Crumb Rubber
Crumb Rubber Bitumen
Pyrolysis oil

EPR Waste Tyre Certificate required for separate identities

3. How to Apply?
Generate a login credential
With 30 days submit documents in your account to avoid deactivation.

Registration no. is provided after 30 days by the department.
