The rails of an approximately 11-km section of the main line between Malmö and Stockholm have to be replaced and Vossloh is welding the new rails together. This work is being carried out with ease using mobile flash-butt welding, which was only approved for use on main lines in Sweden in 2022.
The result: The Vossloh team is carrying out a total of 320 welds of the highest quality in just 10 days.
