2025 Lighthouse Building Projects: Hard Surface Sports Complex & Music Room

Описание: At Lighthouse, we are deeply committed to meaningful learning; nurturing the whole child through academics, outdoor education, the arts, and sport.
As we look to the future, we see an opportunity to create spaces that will serve our students for years to come. With that in mind, we are launching a building project that includes:
A multi-use hard court (next to our secondary school N Block) for basketball and volleyball, giving our athletes a proper facility for training and competition.
A second hard surface sports area (where the grass netball fields currently are) dedicated to netball and introducing badminton and pickleball, serving both our primary and secondary students.
A new music room on the second floor of our DNT building to expand our fine arts programme and give students a dedicated creative space.

Our aim is to have these new facilities completed by January or early 2026, allowing our students to benefit from them as soon as possible.

We are inviting our Lighthouse families and friends to partner with us in fundraising. Our goal is to raise Rs 4.5 million, with funds directed towards the sports facilities and indirectly supporting the construction of the music room. Once-off fundraising campaigns such as this one, allows us to improve our facilities without increasing the tuition that supports our ongoing operations. Fundraising campaigns enable us to honour our mission of keeping our tuition accessible.

We see this as more than a construction project - it’s a shared investment in our school’s future and our students’ growth and wellbeing. We therefore ask you to consider supporting these building projects, as we create spaces that inspire excellence in every area of school life.
