Did you know LEGO sells display cases? Red, blue and now also in tan (with HP theme). I thought it would be fun to actually build a backdrop for a minifig display so I did. The build took up some space, so less figs you can display, but it does make the display more interesting, no?
For those unaware, Acquisitions Incorporated is a DnD podcast, which has a spin-off in the "C" Team. If you like DnD liveplay podcasts, I'd recommend giving both versions a watch. (The A team is played once every few months, and so is action packed, the "C" Team is generally more slow paced and a lot deeper)
