Gangnam-gu District has created the upper space of Samseong and Bongeun drainage, located at 82 Samseong-dong, as a hot spot for Han River views, as Samseong Sunrise Park. An official from the district explained, "Originally, this is a facility to supply water sources to Seoul citizens, and the green space at the upper part of the drainage area was planned to be closed due to complaints from local residents and difficulties in management, but the district has invested 1.5 billion won to turn it into a convenient space for residents."
From the observatory, you can see Lotte Tower, Jamsil Sports Complex, Olympic Boulevard, and Cheongdam Bridge along with the scenery of the Han River.

In addition, grass plazas and deck shelters in the park are used as healing spaces. The park access road, which had created a desolate atmosphere with old retaining walls and asphalt, has been repaved and 26 trees, including blue angel, and 30 kinds of flowers have been planted to create a new trail where visitors can enjoy various scenery every season.
