Duterte ‘co-perpetrators’ more than 8 - group | DZMM TeleRadyo

The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women-Asia Pacific is hopeful that the International Criminal Court will soon issue warrants for co-perpetrators of ex-president Rodrigo Duterte in the crimes against humanity case, saying the list is more than just 8.

The ICC Prosecution earlier named 8 co-perpetrators which included Senators Bong Go and Bato dela Rosa and ex-justice secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II.

Coalition executive director Jean Enriquez also criticized a move by Rodrigo Duterte’s defense team to remove 3 Filipino lawyers representing the drug war victims in the ICC.

She said she expects the ICC pre-trial chamber to dismiss the petition to unequivocally remove common legal representatives Joel Butuyan, Gilbert Andres and Nicole Arcaina from the case.
She said the Duterte camp has already seen the pre-trial chamber nix a petition to declare the ex-president not fit for trial. The chamber has also allowed 539 victims in the drug war to participate in the proceedings.
