In this session, Sheri McPartlin, RN, MEd (Chief Nurse, Clark County School District) and Dr. Christine Pebbles, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC (Behavioral Health Clinical Advisor, Nevada Medicaid) share insights on how assessments are conducted and documented in schools from both nursing and behavioral health perspectives.

• Behavioral health assessments and evaluations
• Documentation and billing requirements for school-based assessments
• How assessments inform plans of care (POCs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Tips for accurate, compliant Medicaid claiming
