This song came from my heart more than from a plan.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that family isn’t always just about blood. Some of the most important people in my life are the ones I’ve met along the way — the ones who stayed, supported me, and became family through shared moments, laughter, and love. This song is for all of them.
I felt drawn to write this as a children’s choir song because there’s something incredibly pure and emotional about hearing kids sing at Christmas. It always tugs at your heart and brings you back to memories of warmth, safety, and belonging. That sound reminded me of Christmases past and why this season still means so much to me.
Where We Belong at Christmas is an original song about family in every form — the family you’re born into and the family you find along the way. My hope is that it brings comfort, peace, and a sense of home to anyone who listens.
