Hydro Thunder - Lake Powell

Описание: I do loves me a nice bit of Hydro Thunder. I wanted to record a bit of Hydro Thunder gameplay for another video project I was planning, but I ended up really getting back into it just from the little bit I was playing. As a result of this, the other project got put on the back burner and I decided to do some new Hydro Thunder gameplay videos.

One of the things I love about Hydro Thunder so much is that it truly embraces the fantastical arcade game style of the time - each of the levels is very distinct and memorable with lots of crazy stuff going on, from the sunken metropolitans of the New York Disaster with it's giant meteorite to the stormy seas and crashed underwater planes of Ship Graveyard, to the all out bat-shit crazyness o Nile Adventure. -I not that long ago bought an Xbox 360 purely so that I could get to play a bit of Hydro Thunder Hurricane, which is just as much fun and as outlandish as the original (sadly I'm unable at present to get any video capture from that, as I've only got an HDMI cable for it and all my external game capture - i.e. not from PC - is limited to SD only).

I'd made some Hydro Thunder videos before, but TBH I wasn't playing all that brilliantly in them. For these ones I decided to try and actually get some video of me actually winning a few races, rather than just some half-assesd driving (piloting?).

These were captured from the PC version of Hydro Thunder - my previous videos were using Dolphin Emulator to play the version of Hydro Thunder on Midway Arcade Classics 3. The music seems a lot quieter in the PC versions for some reason.
