Ease Lower Leg Tension with These Calf Release Moves
If you deal with persistent tightness or soreness in your lower legs, it may be time to give your calves some much-needed attention. Overly-tight calf muscles can contribute to a variety of issues, from Achilles tendinitis to plantar fasciitis.
In this video, I'm going to demonstrate some simple self-myofascial release techniques using a foam roller and lacrosse ball to help calm down those overactive calf muscles. Spending just a few minutes per day on calf mobility can provide tremendous relief.
