GETTING STARTED
Get started by using 30% alcohol 70% water DO NOT USE TAP WATER only clean water. Make sure you are in your garage or an enclosed space to avoid dust and contamination as much as possible during the application process.
APPLYING THE CERAMIC COATING
Take the alcohol and water mixture and wipe the panel that you are going to be applying the coating to thoroughly. Use slow left to right motions when wiping the panel down. Inspect your suede applicator for any debris that may be present before application to prevent damage to the paint. Apply a line of ceramic coating across the suede block work a single panel at time DO NOT COAT THE ENTIRE VEHICLE AT ONCE. Trace the outside of the panel you are coating, then go across left to right, and crosshatch the panel by going up and down to avoid missing spots when coating. While you are applying it will appear clear at first because the resin has not set completely. WAIT 1-4 minutes depending on temperature before leveling the coating with the Gloss Enhancer Detail Spray.
LEVELING THE CERAMIC COATING
Use an LED light to clearly see the coating 1-4 minutes after application or when it becomes milky as seen in the video. Spray the gloss enhancer quick detailer over the panel that you just ceramic coated, and with a CLEAN Microfiber towel go back and forth and up and down over the panel to level the first layer of coating. Use medium to light pressure on your towel. Flip the towel over and rebuff with the opposite side. DO NOT USE CIRCULAR MOTIONS TO LEVEL COATING.
ALLOW 20-40 MINUTES FOR THE FIRST LAYER TO CURE BEFORE APPLYING THE SECOND LAYER OF COATING.
APPLYING 2nd LAYER OF COATING
Inpsect your suede block to ensure that it has not hardened completely. If it has DO NOT USE THE SAME SIDE. Move on to one of the other sides to ensure that any old coating cannot damage the paint.
LEVELING THE SECOND LAYER
Use an LED light to clearly see the coating 1-4 minutes after application or when it becomes milky as seen in the video. Spray the gloss enhancer quick detailer over the panel that you just ceramic coated, and with a CLEAN Microfiber towel go back and forth and up and down over the panel to level the first layer of coating. Use medium to light pressure on your towel. Flip the towel over and rebuff with the opposite side. DO NOT USE CIRCULAR MOTIONS TO LEVEL COATING.
CERAMIC COATING AFTERCARE
Make sure to wash your car consistently, but not through drive-thru car washes the brushes in the tunnels will scratch and ruin your finish.
Using our Ceramic Detail Spray Consistently after each wash will add a micro layer of ceramic on top to keep your coating in pristine condition.
If your vehicle is only dusty use a clean microfiber towel and dust it off first, then using our Ceramic Detail Spray apply to the vehicle and wipe using left to right and top to bottom motions then flip the towel to the dry side and re wipe the panel.
FIXING HIGH SPOTS
A high spot is an area where coating remained on and was missed when leveling each layer. If this occurs make sure to use a microfiber applicator, and our EVO 2000 cut finishing polish to hand polish and remove the spot. Once you have done this reapply a layer of coating over the entire panel to ensure that there are no new high or low spots present in the coating.
