High school students from Akron, Ohio, spent the day at The Ohio State University, learning about social change and advocacy at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs. As part of LeBron James’ I PROMISE program, they attended class, connected with college students, toured campus, and got a taste of college life.
During their visit, LeBron James joined the class via Zoom to talk about his philanthropy and the importance of listening to the communities he serves. He shared his passion for creating real change and encouraged students to use their voices to make an impact.
Students asked him questions about leadership, advocacy, and personal growth, and his advice left a lasting impression. The experience was inspiring for everyone in the room, reinforcing the power of education, community, and using your platform for good.
