Rent a Groom
The protagonist finds herself in a difficult situation: her beloved grandmother is seriously ill, and her greatest wish is to see her granddaughter happy and engaged. To avoid upsetting her and to give her peace of mind during her final days, the young woman decides to take a desperate step. She turns to a specialized agency and hires a professional actor to play the role of her perfect fiancé.
The plan seems simple: a few family dinners, convincing smiles, and a fake love story. However, during this ruse, the boundaries between the script and reality begin to blur. Spending time together, creating fictional memories, and the constant need to pretend to be in love unexpectedly awaken genuine feelings in them. What started as a business deal and a noble lie transforms into a sincere emotional connection. Now, the couple must decide if they are ready to admit the truth once the act is over and if their love has a chance to survive outside the terms of the acting contract.
