TWIM 10 day meditation retreat v/s Vipassana: Which worked better for me?

In October 2022, I attended a 10-day meditation retreat in India. The style of meditation is called "Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation." It was a life-changing experience, and I highly recommend trying it. Long sits get easier and easier, especially if you follow the instructions, which are very clearly provided to you.
I initially found Vipassana (Goenka style) to be difficult and dry, but found TWIM (which is also a form of Vipassana...Samatha/vipassana) to be more enjoyable and effective for me. TWIM focuses on the feeling of joyful or wholesome states, rather than sensations or breath as in Vipassana. I describe feeling happier and smiling for no reason after starting TWIM, and encourage viewers to find a meditation style that works for them and stick with it.TWIM can be accessed online for a small donation fee.

It doesn't suit everyone (according to Bhante Vimalaramsi's book 'Life is Meditation - Meditation is Life') so please follow your own intuition.

Finally, I realise, when I say Vipassana...I really mean Goenka's Vipassana style...TWIM also is a form of Vipassana...it includes Samatha and Vipassana
