Contemporary floor workout and battement tendu exercise in this video are based on the modern dance technique. I love floor work and try to give multiple floor combinations in my contemporary dance class. The second part of this video demonstrates contemporary battement tendu with coordinated arms. This contemporary battement tendu exercise is a great warm up for creating flexibility in the foot and improving the coordination of the dancer by adding a challenging arm pattern to the tendu movements.
