Here is how I installed a USB port in my 2004-2008 Ford F150, bringing it into the 21st century. This is extremely easy and something you could do at home with 15 minutes of your time. Don't waste money paying a radio shop to do this. Do it yourself and save some serious cash!
Note: I did not unplug my battery, just keep the key out of the ignition while everything is unplugged.
