Welcome to Mainz, state capital of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Line 68 is the main line of this project. It connects Rheinland-Pfalz and Hessen, Wiesbaden and Mainz, and Rheinhessen with Main. Completing the 25 km long route takes about an hour. This line is operated together by MVG and ORN.

The line 69 is the Mainzer Campuslinie, which connects all the important instituions of the Johannes-Gutenberg-University (JGU), and the University for Applied Sciences.

M.A.N A21:

Lion's City:

The MVG (Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft) purchased in 2007 and 2009 a smaller series of M.A.N solobuses. These variants are equipped with Euro 4 MAN D 2066 LUH engines and 4 speed Voith D854.5 automatic gearboxes. The solobuses operate mostly on line 69.

Lion's City G:

Shortly after the introduction of the facelifted version, the MVG ordered 13 Lion's City Gs. A second, bigger serie arrived to MVG together with the solo versions in 2007.

Lion's City GÜ:

Operated by the DB-subsidiary ORN, these buses have Euro 5 engines, ZF EcoLife gearboxes and intercity seats.
