💃 HOW IT ALL BEGAN: OUR STORY
Back in 2011, we had a wild idea—what if St. Louis had a burlesque venue that rivaled anything you'd find in Vegas or New York? Not a dive bar stage or a pop-up show in a backroom, but a full-on immersive dinner theater experience where guests could eat, drink, and lose themselves in glamour, laughter, and tease.

We didn’t have big investors or a blueprint. What we had was a vision, some red velvet curtains, and a whole lot of hustle.

We launched in a modest space with a tiny stage and a handful of performers. The floors creaked. The lights were temperamental. And sometimes, the audience was just friends who believed in us. But the energy? The energy was electric from day one.

Over the years, we fought through broken AC units, sold-out weekends, performer injuries, power outages, and even a global pandemic. We redesigned the space more times than we can count, trained dozens of dancers, and cooked thousands of meals backstage in a kitchen built from scratch.

But here's the part that still gives us goosebumps: people kept coming. They came for date nights, for birthdays, for bachelorette blowouts, and just to feel alive again. They came from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky—and now from all across the country. They return year after year, bringing friends, memories, and love with them.

The Boom Boom Room is now the largest burlesque venue in America—and The Boom Boom Revue is our heart and soul. Every feathered fan, every chair spin, every glittered high kick is part of a dream that became real, night after night.
