On November 1st, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and William & Mary dedicated the Williamsburg Bray School, the nation’s oldest surviving schoolhouse for Black children, at a large ceremony 250 years after the school closed.
The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 educational institution and the largest U.S. history museum in the world.
