We show you how to make a simple loaf of bread using Elevate Protein Flour. This recipe is found on the back of the 5 lb bag, and uses just 6 simple ingredients, the same ingredients you would normally use to make bread at home. Whether you’re into fitness, meal prep, or just tired of carb-heavy breads, this one’s for you.
In this video, we show the process from start to finish mixing, baking, and tasting. The results? You’ll have to see and taste to believe.
Ingredients:
3 cups (360g) Elevate Protein Flour
1 cup + 2 tbsp (270g) warm water
1 tsp yeast
2 tsp sugar
1½ tsp salt
½ tsp olive oil
Directions:
-Mix Dry Ingredients
Whisk together all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
-Form Dough
Slowly add the warm water and mix until a dough ball forms.
-Knead
Knead for at least 10 minutes in a stand mixer (or by hand) until the dough is smooth and elastic.
-Shape
Shape the dough as desired and lightly grease with olive oil.
-First Rise
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise at room temperature for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
-Bake
Bake for 45 minutes at 375°F (190°C) or until golden brown.
-Cool
Remove from oven and let cool completely before slicing and serving.
Macros per loaf:
156g protein 760 calories >1g carbs (per slice)
