Описание: Most of the Yawanawa songs do not have literal translations or meanings. The sounds in the songs, with a few exceptions, are not tied to meaning as we think of it. When Raio was in the village, the way they taught the saitis (sacred chants on which these songs are based) was this: "The meaning is what you put to it. It's what your heart puts to it."

So we can see them as an ancestral root of the kind of music now being composed by artists like Aware, Chantress Seba, and Ape Chimba. The new age community might call this "light language." Without a literal meaning, the field of feeling opens into something more transcendent.

The original version of this song was recorded in the Amazon Jungle in Brazil by Raio. He then invited me (J.Pool) to co-create this series of remixes with him. If you haven't heard the other 2 remixes yet, check out
