Novel Synopsis:
In the seventh year of our marriage, Oscar set off fireworks across the whole city to celebrate his little lover’s birthday.
“Are you mad?” He called to coax me, his voice lazy and tinged with amusement.
“She’s young, childish.”
“Just indulge her a little.”
When Oscar said this, I was tangled up with his best friend.
“Send me the plan later. I’ll give my boyfriend the same treatment.”
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the call, followed by the sound of glass shattering on the floor.
Later, Oscar refused to divorce me.
“Break up with him, okay?” His eyes were red, and his smile was forced and ugly. “Or… let him be the side lover.”
