Today on Finishing Permadeath we are hunting for a new solar ship. We could go look one up on the NMS Coordinates Exchange but why not try to find our own. We are flying around local space near home base in Eissentam looking for pirate controlled systems. We only have the economy scanner so we don't get the large skull icon that the conflict scanner provides, but we make due. We end up in several pirate space stations waiting on NPC pilots to land. We see several c-class solar ships and even one S-class one, but none are the right style or colour for this save, let alone have the right solar sails. We also brave some pirate attacks to wait on ships at trade outposts but don't have much luck there either.
