Paradise has been turned upside down by Thomas's rogue rose to Rachael in the previous night's rose ceremony. While Jared scrambles to clear up the mess with Leah, who mistakenly feels there's still a romantic connection between them, Thomas receives a date card. He invites Rachael, which leaves both Leah and Jared romantically adrift once again. Blissfully unaware of this drama are the resident Mum and Dad of Paradise, Keira and Jarrod, who become boyfriend/girlfriend official, celebrating with drinks by the pool. But as tends to be the case, this moment of levity is the calm before the storm. Meanwhile, in the spirit of second chances, Florence returns. She's back. She's mad. And she's ready to confront Jake about his manipulative treatment of her at the beginning of Paradise.Flo's obsessive bitching about Jake gets too much and Jake confronts Flo to clear the air and save his relationship with Megan. Also, blissfully unaware is our perpetually friend-zoned Eden, who still harbours the belief a romantic future with Elora is a possibllity. Elora makes it clear to Eden that there is no hope. It's never going to happen. This triggers flashbacks to Eden's previous romantic failings with Nina and our stalwart single departs Paradise in a huff. The next day, Leah has decided to stop threatening to leave and recommitted herself to the pursuit of love with the next hot guy to walk into Paradise. Sadly, Osher announces there will be no more new arrivals in Paradise, prompting Leah to follow through on her week-long threat and depart Paradise, much to the relief of her exasperated friends left behind.
