To what extent are human beings truly independent in the formation and origin of their thoughts? While humanity often claims superiority within the material realm, the human mind differs fundamentally from the physical body. Unlike the body, the mind is not material in nature; rather, it is inherently spiritual.

If it is acknowledged that human beings exercise little to no control over spiritual realities, an essential question arises: who or what exerts influence over the human mind?

Within the spiritual domain, two governing powers are traditionally recognized: the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness. These opposing realms contend for influence over human thought, belief, and behavior.

In comparison to spiritual beings, human beings are limited in capacity. Spirit beings are understood to be more perceptive, cunning, and strategic, and they actively seek to exert control over those who inhabit physical bodies within the material world. Consequently, human beings are continually subjected to spiritual influence.

From this perspective, individuals exist in a state of servitude to one of two spiritual authorities: either the Kingdom of Darkness or the Kingdom of Light. Absolute autonomy, therefore, is illusory. The critical question is not whether one is influenced, but rather by whom.

The central question, then, remains: who is your puppet master?

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve.”

“Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
